Our auction goes virtual!

While we are disappointed to have to cancel our 2021 Yuma Art Symposium, given the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we'd rather be safe than sorry. And while we will miss seeing all of you, we're hoping this year's online event can create a real sense of fun and help us meet our fundraising goals.

We will be holding an online auction February 25-27, 2021 and we are looking for donations. We hope you will consider doing a couple things to help us out:

·      Donate a shippable piece of art to the event. We are asking donors to hold onto their donation, and will provide you with the winning bidder information at the completion of the event to make this easy. Just follow this link and complete the information—be sure to include as many details as possible, such as measurements, type of supplies used, etc. After, you’ll need to email images to: kellyconley@comcast.net

·      Share the news of our event with your friends and relatives

being virtual will allow us to expand our audience.

We have an online donation form that makes donating super easy:

If you have the means to donate big or small, your generosity will ensure that the Yuma Art Symposium will continue in 2022.

The Yuma Art Symposium brings visual artists from across the country to Yuma, Arizona for an immersive weekend of lectures, demonstrations, community, and sharing. In addition to a long history of hosting acclaimed artists, the Symposium has been an important place for students to engage with the community in a welcoming and fun setting. The Symposium has been going strong for 41 years; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Yuma Art Symposium has been canceled with the hopes of resuming in 2022.

The Symposium operates on registration fees, proceeds from the on-site pin auction, and donations. Even though we must cancel the 2021 Symposium, we will continue to incur ongoing expenses that exist even without having an event (ongoing expenses are approximately $25,000). Without the income from registrations and the auction, we won’t be able to offset the ongoing expenses. We hope to raise funds to replace what income we expected to raise at the 2021 Symposium.

Yuma Art Symposium is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization and your contribution may be tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Thank you for your love and support!

Please donate what you can - and thank you!
